SKIN SURGERY

Dr Le has specialist training in skin surgery and reconstructive techniques. Procedures are performed in the surgery under local anaesthetic and range from simple excisions to more complex skin grafts or flaps. The reconstructive technique depends on the size of the defect and location. The surgical options will be discussed with you carefully prior to your procedure, with treatment designed to ensure the greatest surgical and cosmetic outcome.

Skin biopsies and the surgical removal of skin cancers are often performed at the time of consultation. This includes minor procedures (such as serial curettage and cautery, a treatment for some superficial skin cancers) and some excisions. More complex procedures will be allocated a procedural appointment.
