Medical Facial Peels
Skin peels using a variety of naturally occurring fruit and milk acids can be used to improve the appearance and texture of the skin. Superficial peels are used to gently exfoliate the upper most layers to reveal smoother and brighter skin. Medium depth peels can be used to treat solar keratoses, sun damage and fine lines or wrinkles. Peels can also be used in the treatment of acne, skin congestion, rosacea and pigmentation. A series of skin peels are recommended and occur every 2-4 weeks.
Anti-wrinkle injections
Botulinum toxin injections can be performed to soften or temporarily eliminate facial lines and wrinkles, resulting in smoother and more youthful skin. This can be used to smooth frown lines, forehead wrinkles, crows feet or lines around the mouth. Injections can be combined with dermal fillers or laser therapies for optimal results.
Dermal Fillers
With time, volume loss can occur in the face due to diminished collagen and its building blocks, hyaluronic acid. Dermal fillers are a synthetic hyaluronic acid, which can replace this volume loss and support the skin, resulting in improvements in fixed facial lines, sagging jaw or cheek and lip definition. There are a wide range of dermal fillers, with variable thickness or viscosity, which can be tailored to your needs. Dermal fillers can be part of treatment plan which also includes botulinum toxin injections or physical procedures such as laser.
LED Treatment
Low level light therapy with the HEALITE II is used therapeutically to target different layers of the skin depending on the wavelength (colour) used. It is a painless treatment which improves healing, stimulates collagen for skin rejuvenation and decreases active acne.
